DJI O4 Ground Station: Reach Farther, Stay Aware

The DJI O4 Ground Station is a robust wide-area transmission system designed to help drone operators reach farther and maintain reliable situational awareness. Built to overcome traditional signal limitations, this maintenance-free station is engineered to facilitate continuous, unattended operations around the clock. It features a high-performance RF unit that significantly boosts signal penetration, securing reliable communication links even through dense urban obstructions.

At the core of its transmission capabilities is an advanced 12-antenna array utilizing both horizontal and vertical polarization. This configuration delivers exceptional omnidirectional, high-gain coverage alongside automatic multi-band selection to maintain peak performance. By optimizing the signal-to-noise ratio, the system enhances receiver sensitivity to recover usable signals in complex electromagnetic environments. This ensures that operators capture stable, seamless connections regardless of the aircraft's position during wide-area missions.

To support flexible integration, the ground station utilizes specialized connectivity modes tailored for enterprise deployments. The innovative Gateway Mode connects directly to DJI FlightHub 2, allowing teams to seamlessly bypass common deployment barriers for centralized management. For operations in remote or disconnected environments, a dedicated Relay Mode provides essential offline reach. Together, these smart connectivity features create an open and durable ecosystem that adapts to the most demanding operational needs.

Compatibility:

  • Gateway Mode: DJI Dock 3
  • Relay Mode*: DJI Dock 3, Matrice 400, Matrice 4E, Matrice 4T, and Matrice 4D/4TD (DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise)

* Check your local laws and regulations regarding 5GHz frequency support before using this feature. It is not supported in certain countries, such as Japan and Kazakhstan.
