Intelligent Tracking Features

ActiveTrack 360° [6] takes the guesswork out of filming by automatically selecting the ideal tracking mode. Choose Standard for rock-solid, steady-distance shots, or switch to Cycling mode for high-energy tracking that stays locked on the subject even through rapid direction changes and complex terrain.

FPV Gimbal Mode [2] adds a natural banking effect to Spotlight Free, ActiveTrack 360°, and manual flight. It delivers a visceral, high-speed look to your visuals with the convenient option to apply or switch the effect during post-production.

Driven by advanced algorithms, DJI Fly and DJI Studio provide effortless locking and fluid tracking for people, vehicles, and vessels. Even within complex 360° footage, your subject remains perfectly centered with professional precision.

Spotlight Free for Instant Sharing [2]

Spotlight Free [2] maintains a lock on your subject while assisting with the camera work. This allows you to fly freely and achieve the same complex cinematic movements as an Inspire 3 operator, making pro-level shots accessible to everyone.

Spotlight Free

Spotlight Free [2] locks onto a moving subject and handles the camera movement for you. Simply fly to effortlessly capture epic shots that are ready to share even without editing.

Spotlight

The aircraft maintains a constant heading toward your subject to keep it perfectly framed. This allows you to execute seamless Circle or Dronie maneuvers with no manual camera input required.

Notes

* All videos and images on this page were shot by professionals the using DJI Avata 360 in strict compliance with local laws and regulations. They have been variously edited in post-production. All videos and images are for reference only. Always observe local laws and regulations and ensure the aircraft has obtained relevant certifications and airspace authorizations before flying.

** All data on this page was obtained using a production model of DJI Avata 360 in a controlled test environment. Individual experiences may vary based on environmental factors, usage patterns, and firmware versions.

*** All images, videos, and screen display content on this page are for reference only. Actual product features (including appearance, color, and size) and display content (including backgrounds, UI, and illustrations) may vary.

  1. 360° mode only. For 360° capture, each of DJI Avata 360’s dual CMOS sensors provides an effective imaging area equivalent to a 1-inch sensor with a 4:3 aspect ratio.
  2. 360° mode only.
  3. In order to enable nightscape omnidirectional obstacle sensing, the drone's front, back, left, right, or top sides must be within range of surfaces with discernible textures with illuminance that exceeds 1 lux. The ground below must be textured and diffusely reflective with a reflectivity above 20% (such as walls, trees, or people), and lighting conditions require an illuminance higher than 1 lux. DO NOT fly in severe weather conditions such as rain, snow, lightning, fog, or wind speeds exceeding 10.7 m/s or more. DO NOT fly the aircraft 5,000 m or higher above sea level. DO NOT fly in environments below 10° C (14° F) or above 40° C (104° F). DO NOT take off from moving objects (such as cars or boats). DO NOT fly close to reflective surfaces (such as water or snow), otherwise the vision system may malfunction. The vision system might not function correctly in dim environments. Always fly with caution and avoid putting the aircraft into Attitude mode. Avoid flying in areas with magnetic or radio interference, such as Wi-Fi hotspots, routers, Bluetooth devices, high-voltage lines, power stations, and broadcasting towers. In desert or beach environments, ensure no sand enters the aircraft during takeoff. Always fly in open spaces away from crowds, as buildings, mountains, and trees can obstruct GNSS signals and affect the compass. Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing requires 360° mode, discernible textures, and lighting above 1 lux; it is disabled during playback. In Single Lens mode, only forward obstacle sensing is supported.
  4. Please note that 4:3 aspect ratio recording in Single Lens mode requires the use of Goggles 3/N3 in combination with either the RC Motion 3 or FPV Remote Controller 3.
  5. Recorded in an open, outdoor environment free of interference and in accordance with FCC standards. The 20 km transmission range is only applicable under FCC compliance; in regions adopting the SRRC standard (such as mainland China), the maximum range is 10 km. These figures represent the maximum one-way, non-return communication distance. Please monitor all in-app notifications and safety alerts during flight.
  6. ActiveTrack 360° requires the use of an RC 2, RC-N2, or RC-N3 remote controller. For optimal performance, utilize this feature in open environments. Consult the user manual for specific recording limitations or potential interruptions. In complex, obstacle-heavy settings, exercise heightened caution when using Auto mode to ensure maximum flight and personal safety.
  7. Sold separately.
  8. Measured using internal storage or a high-speed microSD card in a low-interference laboratory environment within regions supporting both 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz. Actual download speeds may vary based on local conditions.
  9. Measured while flying at a constant 21.6 kph in a windless environment at sea level, with the camera in photo mode, from a 100% charge to 0%. This data is for reference only; please monitor all real-time alerts in the live view during your flight.
  10. Parallel charging requires a DJI 65W Portable Charger or DJI 100W USB-C Power Adapter. The hub supports simultaneous charging for inputs of 65W or higher; otherwise, batteries are charged sequentially, prioritizing the one with the highest remaining power.
  11. For 120MP/16K 360° photography, the output resolution is 15520×7760 (120 MP) in JPEG format and 15360×7680 (118 MP) in DNG (RAW).
