Following a mission, FlightHub 2 processes operational data to compile a Signal Map [8] that visually maps out areas of weak coverage. This intelligence allows operators to optimize future ground station placement and fortify critical connection links, ultimately improving overall flight safety.

Dynamic Flight Control and Manual Overrides

While in Gateway Mode, the FlightHub 2 Virtual Cockpit [8] enables full remote aircraft control. As long as the drone remains within the ground station's coverage zone, pilots can easily override automated flight paths to respond quickly and flexibly to changing, multi-point task requirements.


Relay Mode Signal Extension

Built with the core functionality of the D-RTK 3 Relay Fixed Deployment Version, the O4 Ground Station overcomes extreme signal obstruction in valleys and offline urban zones. Switching to Relay Mode [4] and positioning the station at a high point allows operators to quickly extend the aircraft's video transmission link.

  3. When operating in Gateway Mode, the DJI O4 Ground Station utilizes either an Ethernet connection or the DJI Cellular Dongle 2 to interface with cloud infrastructure. It supports seamless deployment across the DJI FlightHub 2 public cloud, FlightHub 2 On-Premises, and FlightHub 2 AIO environments, as well as custom third-party software systems integrated via Cloud API or FlightHub Sync.
  4. Relay Mode is compatible across a designated ecosystem including the DJI Dock 3, Matrice 400, Matrice 4E, Matrice 4T, Matrice 4D/4TD (utilizing the DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise), and FlyCart 100. Operational availability of this feature is contingent upon 5GHz frequency allocation and is restricted in regions lacking this support, such as Japan and Kazakhstan.   5. Data obtained in an open, interference-free outdoor environment. Under IC standards, the 40km transmission range applies solely to the Matrice 400, while other models support a maximum range of 30 km (IC). These figures represent the maximum one-way, non-return communication distance. Please pay close attention to real-time in-app notifications during operations.
  6. Sold separately. Availability of the 4G Enhanced Transmission feature is subject to regional restrictions. Please contact your local authorized dealer for specific availability details.
  7. The DJI O4 Ground Station with Dock 3 offers a larger single-station coverage radius than the D-RTK 3 in Relay Station mode. Tested in an open, interference-free outdoor environment, the 30km range is supported under IC compliance only by the Matrice 4D/4TD (with DJI Dock 3) in Gateway Mode, or the Matrice 4E, Matrice 4T, Matrice 4D/4TD (with Dock 3 or DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise), and Flycart 100 in Relay Mode. This data shows the maximum distance for one-way, non-return flights. Please closely follow all in-app flight prompts.
  8. Feature only available while DJI O4 Ground Station is in Gateway Mode.
  9. DJI Dock 3, aircraft, and remote controller must be on the latest firmware version, V13.01.00.04 or later, and linked via Remote Access.

  11. Please strictly adhere to the guidelines specified in the IP67 protection rating instructions. Performance was evaluated under controlled laboratory conditions. Note that ingress protection is not permanently guaranteed and may diminish over time due to natural product wear and tear.
  12. In environments ranging from -40° to -20°C (-40° to -4°F), the station must be powered by a PoE++ supply of at least 60 W.
  13. The RJ45 interface features a surge protection capacity of 1.5kA (8/20μs waveform), complying with the EN/IEC 61643-21 Category C protection standard. Because surge mitigation performance relies heavily on the capacity and integrity of the grounding system, proper grounding must be established during installation to effectively minimize the risk of electrical damage.
  14. The 7 W specification applies solely to the DJI O4 Ground Station. When using a PoE++ power source, the actual total power draw will be higher because it includes the power consumed by the power supply itself.
  15. Both DJI Power solar solutions and third-party photovoltaic systems require a separate purchase.
