DJI Transmission is an integrated system that includes a video receiver, display, controller, and recorder. It is based on DJI's existing aerial video transmission technology. It's built to work with Ronin-series devices and DJI Master Wheels, redefining the industry with a game-changing transmission experience that gives you vision beyond limits.
Long-Distance HD Live Feed
DJI Transmission uses O3 Pro video transmission technology, which allows for a distance of up to 6 kilometers (20,000 feet) on the ground. It also enables 1080p/60fps transmission at a maximum bandwidth of 50Mbps, as well as live audio monitoring at 16-bit 48 kHz, offering superb remote visual and audio monitoring for crews on huge sets.
End-to-End Ultra-Low Latency
When paired with cinema cameras like the ALEXA Mini LF, the video transmitter and receiver employ the same chip technology as the Ronin 4D, with every link deliberately designed to offer end-to-end ultra-low transmission latency.
Seamless Auto Frequency Hopping
O3 Pro adds DFS bands to the usual 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz frequency bands, providing professional crews with up to 23 channel options that are more compliant and interference-free. DJI Transmission also enables triple-band automated frequency hopping, which examines the electromagnetic environment for the optimum wireless channel.
Users may even manually pick the best channel to minimize device interference using the built-in frequency sweeper.
Transmission capacity is increased even further by installing high-gain antennas.
One Transmitter with Multiple Receivers In two transmission modes, the High-Bright Remote Monitor supports one transmitter with numerous receivers for video and audio inputs. DJI Transmission gives excellent transmission performance in Control mode. The Ronin 2, RS 3 Pro, and camera focus can all be operated remotely, and monitoring may be done from two receivers at the same time.
Broadcast mode can be activated on top of Control mode for crews with several people and teams, such as lighting, art department, and props, to allow an infinite number of receivers (transmission performance differs from Control mode). Encrypted Transmission To prevent your data from unwanted access, DJI Transmission uses secure pairing and AES 256-bit encryption. DJI Transfer uses a self-developed chip and transmission protocol to offer the highest degree of security for your footage.

The image processing processor in the remote display is the same as the one found in the Ronin 4D. This enables it to provide a variety of capabilities in addition to monitoring, allowing for seamless receiving, monitoring, control, and recording.
Wide-Gamut Touchscreen The High-Bright Remote Monitor features a 7-inch wide-gamut touchscreen with up to 1,500 nits of brightness. It comes with a tempered glass screen protector and a professional monitor hood, ensuring rich, true-to-life colors even in bright lighting. The screen has a 1920x1200 resolution and shows a non-intrusive interface (OSD) with visible details such as shooting parameters for easy access and seamless monitoring.
Supportive Tools For accurate composition, exposure, and focusing, the remote monitor includes capabilities such as a safe zone, frame guide, zebra stripes, false color, peaking, and waveform.
Independent Recording and Playback A microSD card slot on the remote display enables for recording and playback of a 1080p/60fps H.264 live stream, as well as simultaneous access to video timecodes, making it simple to edit proxies on set. When numerous remote monitors are utilized together, each monitor may record or replay footage without interfering with the other monitors.
Expansive Control Options
Built-In Motion Controller The built-in gyroscopic sensor on the High-Bright Remote Monitor allows it to function as an independent motion controller for Ronin 2 or RS 3 Pro without the need for additional attachments. This enables users to create more intricate camera motions while driving or using a jib.
Compatible with Ronin 4D Hand Grips An expansion-protective frame is included with the High-Bright Remote Monitor. When used with Ronin 4D Hand Grips, the joystick can control the Ronin 2 or RS 3 Pro gimbal, and the focus wheel can control focusing and camera parameters like aperture, shutter, and ISO, while the record button controls recording start/stop, giving the RS 3 Pro a similar user experience to the Ronin 4D.
Compatible with DJI Master Wheels and DJI Force Pro When combined with the DJI Master Wheels or DJI Force Pro, the remote monitor lets Ronin 2 or RS 3 Pro users gain a more advanced gimbal control. In this case, the original equipment will send control signals straight through DJI Transmission, bypassing the DJI Master Wheels or DJI Force Pro wireless signals. This improves signal range, stability, and anti-interference capabilities while increasing transmission performance by three times.
Mirror Control Mode With Mirror Manage mode, you can control the menu of Sony mirrorless cameras from anywhere on set when the RS 3 Pro is attached on jibs, cable cams, and vehicles.
Direct Power Supply by Gimbal DJI Transmission may be paired with the Ronin 2 or RS 3 Pro to provide a unique shooting option. The Video Transmitter may be fitted directly to the gimbal's cold shoe and powered by it without the need for extra batteries.
Other Power Supply Solutions The DJI WB37 Battery is compatible with the Video Transmitter and High-Bright Remote Monitor.
They can also use the included NP-F Battery Adapter for universal batteries.
V-mount batteries may also be used to power the video transmitter and remote monitor with third-party V-mount battery adapters. The video transmitter has pogo pins on the front and back for mounting the specific V-mount battery adapter to a camera for combined power supply of the camera and video transmitter.
A P-TAP to DC-in power cable can be used to connect to an external power source for a continuous power supply.
