Complete Protection

When it comes to accidental damage coverage for DJI products, DJI Care Refresh is a complete protection plan that gives you greater peace of mind wherever you go. DJI Care Refresh is a 12-month (or 24-month on select products) service plan that provides complete and comprehensive cover should your DJI product be damaged during normal use. Normal product warranties don’t cover accidental damage. Two replacements are included in DJI Care Refresh (1-year plan) and 3 replacements in 2 years are included in the DJI Care Refresh (2-year plan), which also extends the original 2-year warranty.

For some, flying a DJI drone or filming with a DJI gimbal or camera for the first time can be intimidating. You can use your product without fear of damaging it if you use DJI Care Refresh. Replacement parts, repairs, shipping fees, and even up to two complete replacement items are all covered by DJI Care Refresh.

Wear and Tear

With usage over time, a drone can show signs of regular wear and tear that may also affect performance. You can get a replacement under DJI Care Refresh for the nominal replacement fee.


Flyaway Coverage is now included in the DJI Care Refresh service for the DJI Mini 2 and Mavic Air 2, including for users who have already purchased the service. Simply pay the relevant service cost to get a new product if a flyaway event happens.

With the addition of Flyaway Coverage, DJI Care Refresh now covers the majority of the most common accident situations that can occur during flight, enabling you to enjoy your DJI device with more peace of mind every time you fly.

DJI Care Refresh (1-year plan) offers two replacements, including one chance to use Flyaway Coverage.

DJI Care Refresh (2-year plan) offers three replacements, including two chances to use Flyaway Coverage.


With a brand new drone within the first 48 hours of drone activation, DJI Care Refresh activation is easy! Simply purchase the appropriate plan for your drone, an activation code is sent to you via email along with the activation instructions.

For product malfunctions or accidental damage claims are simple. The process is as follows:

  • Contact DJI Support to open a repair ticket and wait for the prepaid shipping label to arrive via E-mail,
  • Pack up the damaged product and send it back using the shipping label provided,
  • Once product is checked in, an invoice for the replacement fee is sent via E-Mail,
  • Upon payment, the replacement unit is sent out!

For flyaway incidents, the process is as follows:

  • Contact DJI Support to open a repair ticket,
  • Produce a Flyaway report using the instructions provided by the support agents,
  • Once report is assessed, an invoice for the replacement fee is sent via E-Mail,
  • Upon payment, the replacement unit is sent out!
