Takeoff and Landing Protection

To further enhance safety during takeoff and landing, the DJI FlyCart 30 incorporates multiple features. These include advanced measures such as sound and light prompts, a 6-second delay in propeller rotation, and secondary confirmation of landing. The integration of an RTK module takes safety to a new level, enabling centimeter-level positioning accuracy and precision during critical phases of flight.

Integrated Parachute for Emergency Landings

In the event of an emergency, the DJI FlyCart 30 is equipped with an integrated parachute system. Activating in low-altitude emergencies, this system ensures a stable descent, minimizing potential risks to people and property. The parachute system undergoes self-checks upon startup, operates with an independent power supply, and incorporates sound and light alerts. Notably, propellers cease rotation before the parachute opens, adding an extra layer of safety to emergency situations.

Safety and Redundancy
Advanced Obstacle Sensing

The DJI FlyCart 30 features advanced obstacle detection capabilities through the integration of Front and Rear Phased Array Radars and a dual Binocular Vision system, enabling Intelligent Multidirectional Obstacle Sensing. This sophisticated technology enhances the drone's ability to intelligently perceive obstacles from various directions, ensuring a safe and obstacle-free flight experience. Additionally, the built-in ADS-B signal receiver actively detects and warns of nearby crewed aircraft, providing an added layer of safety and awareness during operations.

Multi-level Redundancy DJI FlyCart 30
Multi-Level Redundancy

Engineered with a focus on robust safety measures, the DJI FlyCart 30 incorporates high redundancy to ensure secure flight operations, even in challenging environments. The drone is equipped with a dual battery system, providing a fail-safe mechanism. In the event of a single battery failure during flight, the other battery takes over to sustain drone operation, ensuring a safe and controlled return to base. This dual battery setup enhances reliability and contributes to the overall safety of the DJI FlyCart 30.

Transmission System

Ensuring a robust signal and stable transmission, the DJI FlyCart 30 is equipped with DJI O3 video transmission, covering distances of up to 20 km. The drone features a four-antenna transceiver system that intelligently selects the optimal antenna for signal transmission, enhancing anti-interference capabilities. To further bolster connection stability, the use of a DJI Cellular Dongle in conjunction with DJI O3 video transmission is supported. In cases where O3 video transmission encounters interference, the 4G network seamlessly takes over, maintaining signal stability and video transmission. This dual approach enhances flight safety, particularly in complex and challenging environments.

The DJI RC Plus boasts a high-brightness 7-inch screen, Dual Operator mode for flexible control transfer, and an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance in extreme environments (-20° to 50° C). With a 6-hour battery life and hot-swapping capability, it ensures uninterrupted flight operations. Featuring 20 km Four-Antenna O3 Video Transmission for stable signals, it also supports 4G Enhanced Video Transmission through Wi-Fi or a DJI Cellular Dongle.

Cargo Mode

In Cargo Mode, the DJI FlyCart 30 offers streamlined and steady performance with a 70 L max capacity and a 30 kg max payload (dual batteries) or 40 kg max payload (single battery). The EPP case, included as standard, facilitates easy loading and unloading. To ensure safe and stable flight, the drone incorporates weight and center-of-gravity detection, ensuring balanced cargo loading. Please note that the Winch System Kit is sold separately.

winch mode

In Winch Mode, the DJI FlyCart 30 offers flexibility and precision with a 30 kg max payload (dual batteries) or 40 kg max payload (single battery)[1]. The Winch System Kit, sold separately, enables cargo delivery with a retractable cable featuring a maximum speed of 0.8 m/s and a length of 20 m. The delivery process is controlled either manually or automatically, with cargo releasing automatically upon touchdown, eliminating the need for manual detachment and ensuring safe and precise delivery. For enhanced stability, the DJI FlyCart 30 can intelligently adjust its attitude to minimize cargo swing. In extreme situations where hanging cargo might get trapped or tangled, the drone offers a solution by allowing the option to heat and cut the winch cable, freeing the drone from potential entanglements.
