The new DJI FlyCart 30 is the first of its kind, a DJI drone designed specifically for delivering cargo. This powerful drone is both a heavy lifter and a long-distance flier, carrying packages across long distances with ease. It maintains a powerful signal throughout the flight, and its numerous safety and intelligent features guarantee a successful delivery every time. Choose between Cargo mode and Winch mode to overcome traditional logistical limits and perform deliveries from the sky like never before.
The DJI FlyCart 30 can handle heavy payloads over incredible distances. With the dual battery system, the delivery drone can handle a max payload of 30 kg, while the single-battery system can handle up to 40 kg. At max weight, the drone can fly up to 18 minutes in dual battery mode and 9 minutes in single battery mode.
When equipped with dual batteries, the FlyCart 30 can travel up to 28 km without a payload and up to 16 km with a payload. It can maintain a cruising speed of 15 m/s and a max flight speed of up to 20 m/s, allowing you to sail through the skies as you deliver your package to its destination. With the single battery system, the max flight distance is 12 km without a payload and 8 km with a payload.
Depending on the destination of your package, you can configure your payload in either Cargo mode or Winch mode. With Cargo mode, you’ll use the standard EPP case to load and unload your payload with ease. The EPP case can detect both weight and center-of-gravity to make sure your cargo is properly balanced during your flight. This mode has a max capacity of 70 L, giving you plenty of space to load and unload your cargo.
As a separately-sold alternative to Cargo mode, Winch mode allows you to transport cargo via a retractable cable. The cable has a maximum length of 20 m and a max speed of 0.8 m/s, allowing you to raise and lower the payload either manually or automatically. The cargo will release automatically upon touchdown, freeing you from having to manually detach the cargo yourself.
The FlyCart 30 can also adjust its altitude automatically to minimize the swinging of cargo and make sure the package is stable throughout flight. If you ever run into an extreme scenario where your hanging cargo becomes trapped or tangled in the cable, you can heat and cut through the winch cable to free the drone. All of these features work together to make delivery as safe and precise as possible.
Package delivery continues in both rain and shine, so the DJI FlyCart 30 is built to handle all kinds of extreme weather. The delivery drone can handle a max flight altitude of 6,000 m, and has a 12 m/s max wind speed resistance to withstand heavy winds. It also has a wide operating temperature, allowing the drone to work between -20° to 45° C (-4° to 113° F). With an IP55 protection rating that makes it resistant to both water and dust, the DJI delivery drone is guaranteed to operate in almost any form of inclement weather.
The DJI FlyCart 30 is built to keep more than just the drone itself safe–it’s also built to keep the packages safe too. That’s why this drone was designed with numerous safety features that make sure everything is safe and stable from the time you take off to the time you land.
Things don’t always go as planned in the skies. In case of an emergency, you can set multiple alternative landing sites that the drone can make a detour to for a safe landing.
The drone comes with both sound and light prompts to ensure extra protection during takeoff and landing. It also features a 6 second delay of propeller rotation to ensure you have time to get out of the way before the drone fires up. The FlyCart 30 even includes secondary confirmation of landing to guarantee that nothing goes wrong when you’re ready to bring the drone back down to earth. If you like, you can also integrate an RTK module to allow for centimeter-level positioning, giving yourself that much more safety and precision in your flight.
The last emergency feature is the integrated parachute, which can open in low altitude and stably land the drone to avoid hitting property or people. The parachute will automatically self-check upon startup and operates off of an independent power supply. If triggered, the propellers will stop rotating before the parachute deploys. It also uses sound and light alerts to further enhance safety and communication.
Obstacle sensing is one of the most important safety features in any DJI drone, and the FlyCart 30 is built incredibly well in this regard The DJI FlyCart 30 is designed with both Front and Rear Phased Array Radars as well as a dual Binocular Vision system to perform intelligent obstacle sensing. The drone also uses a built-in ADS-B signal receiver to check for any nearby crewed aircraft in the area. If it finds anything, it will send out a warning to help you avoid collision.
Lastly, the FlyCart 30 is built with extra high, multi-level redundancy to make sure that the flight stays safe even in the harshest of environments. The dual battery system means that if one battery fails during the flight, the other battery will keep the drone in the air long enough to allow for a safe return.
This DJI delivery drone supports O3 video transmission of distances up to 20 km. With a four-antenna transceiver system that intelligently selects the best antenna to transmit signals, the drone maintains communication at all times and significantly enhances anti-interference capabilities. If you’re looking for an even stronger stability, the DJI Cellular Dongle can work alongside O3 transmission to maintain signal stability and video transmission using the 4G network.
No DJI drone is complete without a handy remote controller. The DJI FlyCart 30 is compatible with the RC Plus, a stellar remote controller that contains all the controls you need to smoothly and swiftly operate the delivery drone. The RC Plus uses a 7-inch high-bright screen that cleanly and crisply displays the view from the drone.
It also supports Dual Operator mode, allowing two different pilots to transfer control permissions throughout the mission. The internal and external battery configuration keeps the RC Plus working for up to six hours, even allowing for hot-swapping to keep the mission going.
To further enhance your ability to deliver packages with precision, the FlyCart 30 is designed with all the latest intelligent features from DJI. From cruise control to real-time terrain sensing, the FlyCart 30 has it all.
With the DJI Pilot 2, you can view a visual display of the cargo status. You can even intelligently control the winch system to help aid in your delivery.
Cruise control can help counteract pilot fatigue during long-distance, stable flights. If you’re flying in the same direction for several minutes, you can turn on cruise control until you’re ready to take over.
The Front and Rear sensors can do more than just detect obstacles–they can also sense terrain in real time. These sensors create an elevation profile that shows you the surrounding environment and changes in terrain as they happen. This is an excellent feature to navigate dense landscapes without crashing into anything as the terrain changes.
AR Projection helps make landing and cargo dropoff even more precise by giving you a better idea of where your cargo will land.
If you find a route that works for you, you can record a flight route to automatically refly it next time you’re in the air. This helps automate the flight experience so you can focus on landing and takeoff.
DJI Pilot 2 is a godsend with the FlyCart 30. With DJI’s app, you can display both real-time flight status and cargo status to maintain knowledge of the situation throughout the flight. The app also includes other interactive interfaces including real-time flight safety alerts, which automatically show you any safety concerns as they arise.
Using DJI Pilot 2, you can check power status, battery level, and mileage throughout the flight. You can even monitor the reachability of your destination point, making sure you have enough battery to get to where you’re going before you need to land.
DJI DeliveryHub is everything you need in an air delivery management platform. With this platform you can plan, monitor, and manage your entire operation. Teams can collaborate on the mission, performing data collection and analysis as needed. You can remotely create and schedule tasks and devices, and even confirm safety check and one-tap takeoff. The platform causes efficiency to skyrocket as you automatically perform scheduled delivery takes based on prerecorded flight routes.
You can track drones and the status of tasks on a 2.5D Base Map. DJI DeliveryHub offers you a live view of the drone’s high resolution FPV gimbal camera so that you can see everything around the drone. You’ll receive instant alerts in the case of any abnormalities, allowing you to regain manual control whenever you need. You can even collaborate with teammates via different terminals, allowing different members to plan flight routes and manage marked locations, alternate landing sites, and drone health status.
One of the biggest assets of the DJI FlyCart 30 is the ability to fly the drone largely automatically. You can preset flight paths, use cruise control to automatically fly the drone, and enter in alternate landing sites in case of an emergency. Delivery mode can intelligently control the winch system to make dropoff a breeze. With all of these features, it’s easier than ever to sit back and monitor while the drone does the heavy lifting for you.
There are many different uses for which the FlyCart 30 is perfect. The DJI delivery drone can handle the delivery of medical supplies with ease, as you load your packages via the EPP box or the winch and send them off to their destination. The drone can carry heavy items at job sites, such as a solar panel or a piece of machinery that is too heavy to lug by hand. The drone can even be used for general delivery purposes, such as for a food or grocery delivery service. Whatever your delivery needs, the FlyCart 30 is one of the best delivery drones in the business.
The FlyCart 30 has many applications, but it is specifically designed for delivering heavy pieces of cargo. If you’re looking for a delivery drone, then look no further. DJI has pulled out all of the stops to make this drone the best in the business. But if you’re looking for something to transport heavy objects, you can still find a lot of use in the FlyCart 30. The drone is just as good at flying a package to someone’s front door as it is lugging a 60 lb bag of concrete across a construction site.
Its data collection features make it great for anyone looking to maximize their route and automate their flight. And, with DJI’s data protection guarantee, you never have to worry about any of your data falling into the wrong hands. From heavy lifting to processing power, the FlyCart 30 is a force to be reckoned with.
