DJI Mic Mini 2S

Which devices are compatible with the DJI Mic Mini 2S?

The DJI Mic Mini 2S is highly versatile, working seamlessly with cameras, computers, and smartphones (via Bluetooth, USB-C, or Lightning).

It also fully supports the DJI OsmoAudio ecosystem. This means you can connect the transmitter directly to devices like the Osmo Pocket 4P, Osmo Action 6, Osmo Nano, and Osmo 360 without needing a separate receiver—giving you premium sound while keeping your setup incredibly simple.

For full compatibility lists (Mobile Phone & Tablet and OsmoAudio), check out the Downloads section on the DJI Mic Mini 2S website. Note: The Osmo Pocket 4P, Osmo Action 6, Osmo Nano, Osmo 360, and all other OsmoAudio ecosystem devices are sold separately.

What sets the different DJI Mic Mini 2S bundles apart, and how do I decide between them?

The DJI Mic Mini 2S is offered in multiple package configurations to match various audio recording requirements. The two-person combo (2 TX + 1 RX + Charging Case) comes equipped with a charging case, a receiver, two transmitters, and a Multi-Color Magnetic Front Cover Set, delivering extended battery life for dual-subject recording. For solo projects, the standard bundle (1 TX + 1 RX) provides a single receiver and transmitter, while the mobile-focused bundle (1 TX + 1 Mobile RX + Charging Case) features a specialized charging case, a DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver, and a single transmitter tailored for smartphone content creation.

Additionally, the transmitter supports mobile phones and ecosystem hardware such as the Osmo Pocket 4P, Osmo Action 6, Osmo Nano, and Osmo 360. To expand your setup, you can purchase extra DJI Mic Mini 2S transmitters separately or pair them with updated DJI Mic Mini 2 or Mic Mini transmitters, enabling a configuration of up to four transmitters and one receiver.

Is activation required for the DJI Mic Mini 2S?

No, activation is not required. The DJI Mic Mini 2S is ready to use right out of the box. However, you can scan the QR code on the packaging to register for a one-year warranty extension.

How can I install firmware updates for the DJI Mic Mini 2S Transmitter and Receiver?

  1. Link the DJI Mic Mini 2S Receiver to your smartphone using either a DJI Mic Mini Mobile Phone Adapter (USB-C/Lightning) or a direct Bluetooth connection to the DJI Mimo app, then process the receiver's firmware update within the app. Once you place the receiver back into the charging case, you can also update the firmware for the transmitters and the case itself.

  2. Alternatively, you can update a DJI Mic Mini 2S Transmitter independently by connecting it directly to the DJI Mimo app via Bluetooth.

The DJI Mic Mini Mobile Phone Adapter (Lightning) must be purchased separately.
