Heavy-lift drones like the DJI FlyCart series are transforming how goods move in challenging environments. By bypassing ground-level obstacles entirely, these aircraft reach where trucks and traditional vehicles cannot, offering a faster, safer, and more cost-effective alternative to helicopter charters. These systems represent a shift from traditional labor-intensive transport to automated, high-precision aerial logistics.
The DJI FlyCart 30 is a versatile, long-distance heavy lifter designed to bring agility to complex logistics. It balances power with portability, supporting a 30 kg payload with its dual-battery system or up to 40 kg in an emergency single-battery configuration. Built for all-weather reliability, the FC30 operates in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 45°C and features an IP55 rating for protection against dust and water. Safety is paramount to its design, utilizing front and rear Phased Array Radars alongside a binocular vision system for multi-directional obstacle sensing. For delivery, it offers a 70L EPP cargo case equipped with weight and center-of-gravity detection to ensure stable flight, as well as an integrated parachute for emergency scenarios.
The DJI FlyCart 100 represents a massive leap in industrial power, offering a standard 85 kg payload capacity with dual batteries and reaching up to 100 kg in single-battery mode. Offering total flexibility, the FC100 accommodates two specialized payload systems, including a cutting-edge Flagship Winch System. This system features a 30m cable and an Electrically Operated Hook that can be opened or closed remotely for efficient loading and unloading. To streamline operations, the hook utilizes Wireless Charging and Real-Time Weight monitoring to ensure optimal load management and stable operation. For safety during ground operations, the drone provides Audio/Visual Alerts, while a one-click emergency release allows the pilot to entirely jettison the cable if the cargo becomes tangled or trapped, ensuring the aircraft is immediately freed.
