Pro-Grade Design

Handle Big Payloads
RS 3 Pro uses extended carbon fiber axis arms to provide professional cameras additional balancing space, making it an ideal match for cameras like the Sony FX6 or Canon C70 with 24-70mm F2.8 lenses, allowing for more creative options.

The new Extended Lower Quick-Release Plate provides more stable camera mounting, and makes it easy to add a lens support for more secure configurations.

A fine-tuning slider for the tilt axis has been added to make the balancing process easier by allowing the camera to be moved forward or backward more accurately, down to the millimeter. The RS 3 Pro may be balanced with reduced friction and resistance, even when attaching heavier cameras, thanks to Teflon®-coated components.

High-capacity Payloads
The RS 3 Pro's optimized structural design keeps its weight at 1.5 kg/3.3 lbs (including gimbal, battery grip, and dual-layered quick-release plates), yet its load capacity is a sturdy 4.5 kg/10 lbs, providing substantial support in a lightweight body.

Wireless Shutter Control
Equipped with Dual-Mode Bluetooth technology, RS 3 Pro is able to achieve efficient and reliable wireless shutter control. You may control video and photo shooting by just pushing the record button on the stabilizer after the first Bluetooth hookup. The DJI RS3 helps save you time by automatically reconnecting previously paired cameras, saving you time every use.

Instant Mode Switching
By sliding the new Gimbal Mode Switch, you may choose among Pan follow, Pan and Tilt follow, and FPV modes. You may also change the FPV mode to 3D Roll 360, Portrait, or Custom to fine-tune your setup for a more quick and easy startup.

Bigger is Better

The Next Evolution of RS Stabilization
RS 3 Pro delivers considerably improved stability in every condition thanks to the third generation of RS stabilization algorithms. According to laboratory testing, the RS 3 Pro has a 20% boost in stability over the RS 2, making it easier to manage low-angle shots, running scenarios, and moving between high and low positions.

Get SuperSmooth Results
When SuperSmooth mode is selected, the RS 3 Pro boosts motor torque to further improve stabilization, resulting in steady film even in fast-moving situations or when utilizing lenses with a focal length comparable to 100mm.

Pro-Grade Focusing

LiDAR Assistance
The RS 3 Pro uses Ronin 4D's LiDAR focusing technology to make focusing simpler. Within a 14-meter range, the new LiDAR Range Finder (RS) can project 43,200 ranging points.

It also has a built-in camera with a 30 mm equivalent focal length and a broad FOV of 70°, which can handle focusing in most situations.

In contrast to traditional focusing technologies, the LiDAR focusing system does not rely on the subject's surface texture. This is especially beneficial in low-light situations or settings with several subjects, since it ensures a very steady focus.

Both Wide Mode and Spot Mode are supported. The range finder automatically identifies the subject and follows focus in Wide Mode. Users may manually frame or press the topic to concentrate in Spot Mode.

All-New Focus Motor
The next-generation DJI RS Focus Motor (2022) has three times increased torque (up to 1 Nm) and a 50% reduction in audible noise. This provides a smoother concentrating experience and reduces the influence on audio recording. It also has a quick-release construction that allows it to be assembled quickly and effortlessly without the use of any tools.

Enables Cinematic Autofocus
Cinematic autofocus on manual lenses is also achievable thanks to the combination of the LiDAR Range Finder and the new Focus Motor. Once you've pressed the M button on the gimbal, you may easily switch between manual and autofocus to match your demands in both modes.

After manual lens calibration, numerous lens calibration profiles may be saved in the focus motor, eliminating the need to re-calibrate before subsequent uses. Certain cinema lenses can even autofocus without calibration by connecting directly to the focus motor.

Users can alternatively connect the LiDAR Range Finder and focus motor directly to the camera and operate them independently of the gimbal, allowing for focusing on manual lenses and the use of an external battery.

ActiveTrack Pro
The Ronin series' tracking has never been more responsive and precise. Without the Ronin Image Transmitter, the next-generation ActiveTrack Pro can read pictures straight from the camera embedded inside the LiDAR Range Finder (previously known as the Ronin RavenEye Image Transmitter). The LiDAR Range Finder also has a self-developed chip, identical to the one used by Ronin 4D, that increases ActiveTrack Pro's computing capability by more than 60 times when compared to ActiveTrack 3.0 on the Ronin Image Transmitter.

You may observe or frame the subject directly on the RS 3 Pro's OLED display while using ActiveTrack Pro. The live feed latency is decreased to just 40 ms, which is 60% faster than the Ronin Image Transmitter, enabling for quick tracking even when the subject moves quickly. It can recognise and track objects even when they are many and at a distance with the help of a neural network accelerator.

Pro-Grade Video Transmission

Quick Mounting
The RS 3 Pro can be paired with the all-new DJI Transmission to provide a unique shooting experience. The DJI Video Transmitter is powered directly by the RS 3 Pro and fits on the bottom through the cold shoe, removing the need for a second battery and simplifying handheld setup.

Long-Range Wireless Transmission
O3 Pro Video Transmission has a 6km/20,000ft video and audio transmission range with ultra-low latency, as well as automated frequency hopping between 2.4 GHz, 5.8 GHz, and DFS bands, giving workers a reliable and interference-free remote monitoring experience.

Coordinated Shooting
The DJI High-Bright Remote Monitor provides 1080p/60fps live feeds and has one transmitter with several receivers. Gimbal and Focus Control

It also has a built-in gyroscopic sensor, allowing the remote monitor to function as an independent motion controller for the RS 3 Pro without the need for other accessories, allowing for more intricate camera motions from a moving vehicle or with a jib.

Seamless Wireless Camera Control
When RS 3 Pro is mounted to carriers like a jib, cable cam, or a vehicle suction cup mount, Mirror Control mode unlocks seamless wireless control from anywhere on set. This mode allows direct control of the core menu operations for Sony mirrorless cameras [5] via a remote monitor, all without having to detach your camera.

Mirror Control mode allows smooth wireless control from anywhere on set when the RS 3 Pro is connected to carriers like a jib, cable cam, or vehicle suction cup attachment. Without needing to separate your camera, this mode offers direct control of the key menu actions for Sony mirrorless cameras through a remote monitor.

Extensive Expandability
The Twist Grip Two Handle, Tethered Control Handle, and the new DJI Briefcase Handle may all be linked to the RS 3 Pro through dual RSA/NATO connectors and a battery port to accommodate a range of shooting requirements.

Solutions for Any Scenario
Third-party manufacturers and individual developers may now design customized solutions for the RS 3 Pro using the DJI RS SDK protocol. RS 3 Pro offers extensive shooting options and additional creative possibilities, whether you're recording from a moving vehicle, using a jib or Steadicam, or using a cable cam or slider.

Ronin Image Transmitter
There are two approved video transmission solutions that are supported by the RS 3 Pro. The Ronin Image Transmitter, in addition to DJI Transmission, offers HD live feeds, remote gimbal and camera control, ActiveTrack 3.0, Force Mobile, and many additional capabilities to independent videographers and small teams.

New Briefcase Handle
The new briefcase handle is collapsible for easy storage and has an ergonomic grip that makes installing and switching to Briefcase mode easier and faster. External displays may be connected to the built-in cold shoe mount and 1/4"-20 mounting holes for shooting assistance, allowing for more natural low-angle camera movements.
