DJI Mavic Mini
The original DJI Mavic Mini is engineered for ultimate portability, featuring a remarkably light takeoff weight of just 249 g. Its compact, foldable design allows it to shrink down to 140×81×57 mm, making it small enough to fit in a jacket pocket, while unfolding to a diagonal distance of 213 mm for flight. Despite its diminutive size, it offers a robust maximum flight time of 30 minutes (measured at 14 kph in windless conditions) and can operate in temperatures ranging from 0° to 40°C. It remains stable in the air thanks to a GNSS system utilizing GPS and GLONASS, providing high-precision hovering accuracy within ±0.1 m vertically and ±0.3 m horizontally when using its vision positioning system.
In terms of performance, the Mavic Mini is highly adaptable, offering three distinct flight modes: Sport (S), Position (P), and CineSmooth (C). In S Mode, the drone can reach a top speed of 13 m/s with a maximum ascent speed of 4 m/s. It is capable of resisting winds up to 8 m/s (Scale 4) and can take off from altitudes as high as 3000 m. Depending on the specific model (MT1SS5 or MT1SD25), the drone operates across 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz frequencies to ensure reliable signal transmission. This combination of agility and sophisticated positioning makes it a versatile tool for capturing aerial perspectives.
